Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Gradient Color Screen & Light Effects (the “App”), provided by AGB Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information when you use the App.
1. Information Handled by the App
The App works without an account or a developer-operated backend. The following information is stored locally on your device so the App can provide its core features:
- Light presets you create and save
- Your favorites and recently used lights
- App preferences and onboarding state
- Advertising frequency counters
We do not receive this locally stored information. It remains on your device until you change or delete it, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App.
2. Camera and Photos
The App includes an optional light-assisted photo feature. Camera access begins only after you choose to use that feature, review the in-App disclosure, and continue. The App uses the front camera to capture one still image with audio disabled. It does not display or record a camera feed.
Captured image data is kept temporarily in memory for preview and is not uploaded to us. The image is written to your device’s photo library only when you select Save. If you retake the photo or leave the preview without saving, the temporary image is discarded.
On older Android versions, saving may require permission to write to shared storage. Newer Android versions use the system media service. On iOS, the App requests the photo-library permission needed to save the image. The App does not request microphone, contacts, precise location, or photo-library read access for this feature.
3. Advertising Services
If advertising is enabled in the version of the App you use, the App uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share information including:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
- App interactions, such as app launches, ad views, and taps
- Diagnostic and performance information, such as crash or launch data
- Device or advertising identifiers used for advertising, analytics, security, and fraud prevention
- Information about advertisements shown to you
The exact processing depends on the platform, device settings, region, consent choices, and advertising configuration. Google describes these practices in its Mobile Ads data disclosure and Privacy Policy.
4. Consent and Advertising Choices
Where required, the App uses Google’s consent platform to determine whether advertising requests are permitted. Advertising is requested only when the platform reports that it may be requested. When Google requires an ongoing privacy-options entry point, the App provides Advertising privacy choices in Settings so you can review or update available choices.
You can also use device-level advertising and privacy settings to limit ad personalization. The choices available to you may differ by device and region.
5. How Information Is Used and Shared
Locally stored App data is used only to provide saved lights, favorites, recents, preferences, and advertising frequency limits on your device. We do not sell or share your presets or captured photos, and the App does not upload them to us.
When advertising is enabled, Google may process the advertising information described above to provide and measure ads, perform analytics, maintain its services, and prevent fraud or abuse. Google’s own terms and privacy controls govern that processing.
6. Data Retention and Your Choices
You can remove local App data by deleting saved presets, clearing the App’s storage in your device settings, or uninstalling the App. Unsaved photo previews are discarded when the preview or light session ends. You can delete saved photos using your device’s photo application.
Because the App has no account system or developer-operated backend, we cannot identify, access, or delete local data remotely. Retention of information processed by Google is controlled by Google’s policies and the applicable advertising configuration.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is a general-audience creative utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through an account or backend. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the request.
8. International Processing and Rights
Advertising providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live, subject to their published safeguards. Depending on your location, you may have legal rights relating to access, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Contact us to exercise rights concerning information for which we are responsible. For Google advertising information, use Google’s privacy controls or contact Google as described in its policy.
9. Data Security
We design the App to keep core content on your device and to avoid uploading captured photos. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Your device’s security settings also help protect locally stored information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when App features, third-party services, legal requirements, or data practices change. We will publish the revised policy at this URL and update the “Last updated” date above.
